Last Season’s favourite MKR contestants, siblings Helen and Steve Demetriou are taking over George’s Mediterranean Bar and Grill, King Street Wharf on Thursday 18th April and transporting your tastebuds on a journey to Greece.
With a back drop of the wharf setting the scene and accompanied by the sounds of live bouzouki played by Tommy Tsonis, it shouldn’t be too hard to imagine yourself on a Greek island somewhere as this brother and sister team delight everyone with a delectable 4 course menu matched with famous Greek wines from the Lafazanis Estate at Nemea in the Peloponnese.
“Steve and I are really looking forward to showcasing some of our special dishes, such as Saganaki Prawns and Haloumi with tomato Jam” said Helen Demetriou as she mentioned just some of the menu highlights.
Everyone is invited to come and enjoy the tastes and sounds of Greece through great Greek food, wine and entertainment, and to of course meet Helen and Steve and personally experience why this duo was 2012’s favourite MKR contestants.
